Nasce nel 1967 a Catania, ma cresce e studia ad Aosta. Qui, conosce il designer Franco Balan e frequenta il suo atelier. Successivamente, si sposta a Bologna, dove segue il corso di Tecnica dell’Incisione con il Maestro Luciano De Vita , presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti, in cui si diploma nell’ a.a. 1992. Le prime esperienze professionali nel campo della moda presso lo studio di Massimo Osti, e nella comunicazione pubblicitaria. L’interesse per la grafica la porta, per alcuni anni, a condividere progetti nell’editoria indipendente con l’Associazione Le Magnifiche Editrici e a sviluppare un profondo interesse per l’incisione a rilievo. Attualmente la sua ricerca si concentra sulla stampa, attraverso la sperimentazione di nuovi materiali e la realizzazione di libri d’artista. Partecipa, inoltre, a progetti, mostre collettive e organizza workshop presso il suo atelier.

Born in 1967 in Sicily, but raised and trained in a small town in the Alps, where she met the designer Franco Balan and attended his atelier. Later she moved to Bologna, where she studied Engraving Techniques with Maestro Luciano De Vita, at the Academy of Fine Arts, where she graduated in 1992. The first professional experiences in the field of fashion at the Massimo Osti’s Studio, and in advertising communication. Her interest in graphics led her, for some years, to share independent publishing projects with the “Le Magnifici Editrici” Association and to develop a deep interest in relief engraving. Currently her research focuses on printing, through the experimentation of new materials and the creation of artist’s books. She participates in exhibitions, collective projects and organizes workshops in her atelier.
